Surya Grahan 2009 India Solar Eclipse
Longest Solar Eclipse ( Surya Grahan) will take place on 22 July 2009.It will be visible in central and northeastern parts of India.
Scientists from world are gathering at Taregana village, one of the best places in India to view the celestial spectacle. Taregana is about 30 kms south of Bihar capital Patna.
The total eclipse will start a little after sunriseand is expected to last three minutes and 48 seconds at Taregana.
Allahabad, Bhagalpur, Bhavnagar, Bhopal, Gaya, Indore, Jabalpur, Patna, Vadodara and Varanasi, are the major cities where total solar eclipse can be seen.
